Just a small note, 1947 P2 Export 16 HP 6 Light Saloon owned since 1985, is our Classic Rover Chariot.

I've been a Rover Sports Register member since the early1980's and since returning (driving the P2) here in 1990 from Belgium have been the Regional Representative of the Rover Sports Register (RSR) for the North West Highlands and Islands of what at the time of writing is still the UK up here. With a Yes vote in the Scottish Independence referendum in September then of course I will be in another country from most of you!

Remote up here, but for those P6 owners amongst you, yes there are actually 2 non - running P 6 cars up here........there is one P4, but know of no P5's within a three to four hour drive away, and as for SD1's well they have pretty much all rusted away, naturally though more than a few classic Land Rovers exist here as well as lots of everyday use modern Freelanders, Discoveries and Range Rovers.....

Remember, when touring your classic Rover in these wilderness areas to be sure to look us up!

Hello and welcome to the forum, Tim! The Isle of Skye is a beautiful place, and I've had many very happy holidays there, including one with my 2000, which was particularly enjoyable! Lovely P2 as well, and I look forward to seeing it at the SARR this year.
