Well, not sure the weather holds in store for this weekend, but I've got the car as ready as I can in the rain to set of for Blackpool Friday morning. Hope its better by Sunday - I'll have to wash and polish LDD once I get there. See you there!

Was a very good show, sun was beaming. Good to see the 3 Amigos got back safely, probably took a bit longer as they were carrying extra silverware, well done guys. Long journey back for Nick, hope you made it with no issues. Them Pre war Rovers were stunning. A good day out.

If it was at a closer venue, A mate of mine would have taken me in a 1947 Rover 16 SS, we have been to the last 3. Unfortunately Blackpool was just too far, and it sounds like we missed a very enjoyable day out. Any chance of pictures?

What a fantastic weekend in Blackpool. Driven around 700 miles over four days - car running well (thanks to Nick and Duncan). Brilliant road run in the Lancashire hills on Saturday. The driving rain made the landscape even more dramatic and meant there was almost no other cars on those minor country roads - a great day out. Superb location on the Sunday at Stanley Park. Interesteing speaker and good comapny at Saturday's dinner. All rounded off with a good natter in the Imperial bar on Sunday evening. Well done RSR on a very well orgnaised and enjoyable event

Thanks Mick - We got home by 10.30pm. Long, long, drive there and back.

Absolutely superb show. We were amazed how the weather was on our side - especially after the heavy winds and rain on Saturday night.
