You'd need a lot of extra info for useful help...

But...I guess you need to check the electrics first, make sure you're getting a spark at the plugs, look at points and condenser if fitted and if that's still not working move onto the carbs and fuel delivery...

A missfire will allow the engine to run, albeit roughly, but cause the engine to die at idle, fuel starvation where there may be just enough fuel getting through at revs but insufficient at idle etc.

More specific symptoms will allow a better diagnosis. I've even seen people post a link to a Youtube video of their engine running to show people how it sounds.

could be a piece of dirt under the needle and seat valve in the carburettors,maybe an air leak?

We really need the full story -did it suddenly start not idling or has it never idled properly ?
