Rover P6 Breaking For Spares!

Hi there,

i have a rover p6 that i am breaking up as it has been ticket off as scraped and i manage to save her from the crusher.
all parts available, glass, wings, chrome work, bumpers, grill, lights, interior etc etc.

Can you tell me what model p6 you have ? I would be interested in the carbs if it is the correct model.

Hi there,

i now have the rover out of the barn and i can take some good photos tomorrow, so if any parts you may need please let me know and i can get some photographs.

i have spare brand new bumpers, wings, front panels etc etc so ask me i may have anything you may need (the front panels are new and they are for a 2000 TC)

Hi Scott

Why is it a breaker? I'd have thought a tax exempt S2 V8 was worth repairing. Later, once they are past '73 and the tax threshold, I agree it doesn't take a great deal to make them uneconomic, but tax exempt ones do seem to attract a premium?

Hi there,

The Rover is a breaker because the guy who i bought it off of has ticket it off with scrap and it needs alot more work than what it looks.

yes i do admint that nothing is too bad to restore but the car is very tired, its done 85,000 miles and it is in need of more work that at the moment i can give it.

i have promised someone the shell after i am done and the engine has been sold.

hi mate,

what exactly do you mean by furflex? i know its something to do with door channels but id hate to say yes when i dont have the item.

In this photo,its the furry push on strip that goes down the door pillar,there are 2 on each door appature,looks to be light brown,but hard to tell in pics if the light is on it,am looking for darkish brown ones,but any good ones will do as I can recolour them.
