Rostyle tyres

Hi all

Just bought some P5/6 15" Rostyles off Ebay for my '74 3500S and no-one (ATS, Kwik Fit and National Tyres) seems to know the best tyres to fit front and rear. They state that 185s are the biggest on the front due to shock clearance but there are postings on this forum of people with 205s all round??!!

Any ideas?

Hi Rick.
I work for ATS in Blackpool and as far as tyres go for your wheels may a suggest you try 185/65hr15 tyres?.These tyres have basically the same rolling circumference as the original 185hr14 fitment.You can get 185x15 tyres that were on the P5 cars but the only readily available fitments are for
the Ford Transit and such.I know P6's are heavy but you don't need light truck tyres!!!!!.If you want any info give me a ring on 07870-168346 or 07968-428871 and i'll give you the correct info. :D
 
Spot on, thanks John. I may well have had a change of heart though now as I like the idea of some Jeep Cherokee tyres as mentioned in another part of the forum.
