reversing lights

reversing lights stay on when in drive 1st and 2nd never noticed it till i was stpoed could this be down to the inhibuter switch? 2nd my revcounter dont work? would this be a fuse? and my eletronic ignition is hear new coil rotor arm just waiting for dizzy cap and leads then hopefully can start sorting other bits out well happy new year to you all and thanks for help thanks chris :)

Yes, if it's a BW35, I suppose it's possible with a BW65, but I'd say far less likely.

Check the fuses, but the tacho won't be individully fused, so unless you've noticed other things not working I'd say it's more likely a faulty unit or a wiring problem.
 
still no joy but have noticed that now the dam thing dont want to start?? put in n dont want to go wiggeld gear stik and it was off got home whent to revers and it was if i had a sliping clutch? the bloke that sold this to me was full of bull thanks peps for any help :(
