Why discard perfectly decent steel rims in
Basically because "perfectly decent" is being exceedingly generous. :)
Ah well, mine look acceptable to me and still hold air. But I'm happy to concede that I'm in the minority in prefering them to high maintenance bling. :D

I think a nice set of steel wheels with classic 'biscuit tin' hubcaps are lovely but all the wheels that I have come across have been too wobbly and leaky for my liking.

I must admit that Bruiser's Revolutions are looking very scruffy & the last quote I got for tidying them up was around the £200 mark, so they have their drawbacks. I could have a go with some wet & dry but it's a time-consuming job. Is there a drill-attachment that anybody has used on their alloys or have you all done them by hand?
