Hi who else went to the show? What did you think? I thought it was much moore comfortable but a lot less to see. The club had a good stand and I had a ==the chance to chat to Clive Anabell :)

I went and enjoyed it. Nice and quiet on the Saturday afternoon but still plenty going on. Magic finally getting to see the only remaining P7!

Yes the P7 was interesting, so was the auction. I saw two Jaguars XJS V12 's with low mileage go for under £4K and a rotten mini that had been converted in to motor home go for nearly £8k. Part of the nearside was held together with G clamps!

I went on Saturday with a mate who'd luckily bought a pair of advanced tickets - we spent some considerable time at the P6 stand, drooling over the blue 3500S in particular... it was absolutely gorgeous and makes me wish I hadn't sold my 3500 Auto last year. My mate took one look at it and is now considering selling his early SD1 and getting a P6 instead.

Another car which caught me eye and raised a smile was the blue '70s Jag XJ12 with the vinyl roof in Hall 2 that was bought as a resto project - it'll need a lot of work but I kept looking at it imagining four burly donkey jacket wearing blokes inside with stockings over their heads, armed with sawn offs! It just had that look about it...

Bought a few bits for my Cooper S from the autojumble area but alas P5 bits seemed to be a bit scarce. Mind you I could easily have gone back on the Sunday and spent loads on tools, books, brochures etc (don't tell the other half for Gawd sake!).

Nidge

That Mini Motorhome went for nearly eight grand!?! It was half a Mini with a tonne of scrap wood balanced on the back!

Anyway, I had a great time.
