Question about replacing the speedometer cable on the P4 - 75 - 1958:

Three screws have to be loosened on the gearbox, but no wrench will fit.
11/32 inch slips through and 5/16 inch does not fit on the screw head.
Is there another size in between?

2BA (British Association) is the spanner size ( 0.324"/ 8.23mm AF) , or use a small adjustable from the tool tray. Its a common size on small fixings on old Rovers . One of the first open ended spanners I bought nearly 60 years ago & still going strong.
