Over 95% of all SD1's that were once registered within the U.K are no longer so. They have either been scrapped or are waiting a similar fate in one way or the other.
You hardly see them out on Australian roads either.
I know that the local Rover mechanics much prefered them over the P6's in terms of ease of repairs.
On the wheel front, I think that the early SD1 alloys look better on a P6, but the later series 2 alloys look better on an SD1.
