I,ve just had the rear suspension totally overhauled; new springs, all bushes renewed, de-dion cleaned and renovated inside and out, new tyres etc. Expensive, yes, but what a difference it's made! I'm able to overtake in the outside lane with confidence at last. After 20 years I'm a "born again" P6 driver and might even change my limited mileage to an unlimited policy so as to drive it more.

ooh only 20 miles since mot .. due to delay in certain parts I under took a little rear end rebuild too including all new bushes for upper and lower links. Shocks and springs just painted .
what a diference rear end is much tighter on cornering - may be I'll do the fronts now! - bushes were "serviceable" and passed MOT but guess 32 years on the car have taken toll!
longish run Saturday planned cant wait! :D
