I'm trying to locate some rear belts for my series2 [either type] after trying all the suppliers in the this months mag to no avail, does anyone know of any other suppliers to try ?

Try and find a MINI supplier, from the intro of the law for rear belts to be fitted 1986/87 ish they fitted static 3 point ones which will fit, they did change to inertia in the 90's.

This probably won't help... But, I've got inertia rear belts fitted, they came out of a mk2 cavalier but I think they were aftermarket items for the cav.
I would have a look at some cars in breakers, many cars may have suitable belts. The inertia reals can be mounted flat on the parcel shelf, and a lap belt will also fit in the middle.
Watch out for the bolt holes though, I suspect from memory that the modern bolts won't fit the P6 threads, but don't quote me on that !
