The drivers lock is staying in the depressed position and the lock is not pushed into the unlocked position . I have dismantled it and pushed it up the barrel from the door side but the fault recurs. I know the return spring is OK. Do I need a new lock or is a small widget missing that I cannot see unless I take the whole thing out ? It is an annoying little fault just as I was planning to sell the car.
