This old chestnut. It was a VIP but had most of the features that made it a VIP removed leaving it a basically standard P6B albeit having undergone a rather splendid but enormously expensive (over?) restoration funded by an owner who didn't actually know that he had bought a VIP as he had also never heard of them.
Been for sale since forever, at least 3 years. Allegedly cost £43k to restore. Was up for £24995 for ages. Looks a bit of a mess to me. A case of not knowing when to stop.
Aircon, NADA doors with side impact bars, boot kit.
The only really interesting thing is the SD1 nylon upholstery and headlining and half had platinum metallic paint (both that and Brasilia brown were carried over to the SD1).
As this car has lost those last two, then it has lost its value really.
No all standard U.K. running gear.
I broke up a very rusty one a few years back.
Didn't want to as it was close to the last Brazilia brown ones.
Only decent panel was the air intake and seats.
