Radiator Brackets - What are they for

Could someone tell me what the two brackets at the bottom of a V8 radiator are for? They face towards the engine and have two nuts welded to the back.

I can't find pictures in any of my stripdown photos to remind of what they are for.

hi BB,
they certainly do, they are nothing that you have forgot about, they are there for any of the cars fitted with air-con. the metal shroud which goes around the 13 blade plastic fan fastens to it. hope that puts your mind at rest.
