Question on jacking point corrosion

I have a 1970 Rover 3500S (NADA). Rust forward of the rear wheel at the jacking point has weakened the jacking point. Question: What is the recommended repair for this problem? Is there an after market steel piece I can buy to make the repair easier/better? Dave Jones, Victoria, BC
