Police Spec Car & Driver Wanted In London

Is there anyone in the club from the London area who owns a Police Spec P6, who would be willing to supply and drive their car in a film I am producing? It is a fully self-funded project and we are mostly classic enthusiasts and owners, using our own vehicles. Our P6 owning mate decided to switch to a P5B and now we don`t have the luxury of his fine motor! I am asking for London based owners as we cannot afford to pay anyone for using and supplying their car, and perhaps someone is just a stones throw away from some of our locations. We have been filming in Hammersmith/South Kensington/Colnbrook/Heathrow and many more places. The film is set at the end of 1977 so we need period correctness. If you can help in any way with other cars, not just the police vehicle, please get in touch here by PM initially.

NB As I've said above, we can't afford to cover any costs whatsoever. It's hoped that there might be at least one like-minded owner close to, or in Central London, who would be happy to use their car in our film. We're making history here folks! :wink:
 
I have, no response. The members will likely charge for lending their cars, which is fair enough. It`s pretty much a labour of love for all involved, and we are just looking for more like-minded owners. 8) Cheers!
 
Hello mate, sorry something odd is going on here. Did I respond to you on another forum? The TV lounge maybe?
I must be losing it. Anyway, we are filming probably until mid December now. Your car will be spot-on for our final scene, but not necessarily the last one filmed. I will have more exact details after this weekend, when it is just a rehearsal of a difficult scene with loads of actors and dialogue. I will get back to you Sunday afternoon.
