Within the U.K, what was the percentage of 3500S models sold as a percentage of the total number of P6Bs sold? Could someone please advise.

Within Australia, only 200 or so 3500S models were imported. I am not aware of the total number of 3500 models imported, but I do know it was significantly greater.

These days, seeing a 3500S on Australian roads is a rare sight indeed!

Thanks in advance,
Ron.

James Taylor's book will have the answer, but it's something like 59,999 (really!) 3500 models with just under 20,000 manual 'S's. :D

Others here will have better information at their fingertips, but IIRC the entire production run of P6Bs was about 80,000 - about a quarter of which were the S.

Out of the 80,000, there were 17,000 series 1 3500 for the UK market, around 26,500 series 2 3500.

I belive there was only around 12,000 3500S Uk cars up to the end of 1974 then things got confused but it is beieved that only another 2,000 of the 3500S were made for the uK.

So 43,500 UK 3500:14,000 UK 3500S

about 75.5% 3500 to 24.5% 3500S

I could be wrong though

and often am :D

It has been said that there are probably more 3500S now than were ever produced, if you know what I mean !
