Interesting the way the speakers are fitted in the door bins on the first one. Works pretty well i think???

Perhaps aesthetically you mean?

The problem is that the window winders are not working in this way!

The white Three Thousand Five has been on eBay as well. I'm not sure why it hasn't sold. Looks like a bargain for someone. Not sure about the 'modifications' though...

Why are people under the impression that the tacho-pods are very rare :?:

Wonder what those door-bins are out of, they're an extremely good colour match aren't they? (Ah I see, painted...as the tunnel-top has been too)

The tacho pods themselves are not that rare. But a V8 instrument to go in one is. Almost all the ones out there are 4 cyl ones.

I thought for a long time that all Three Thousand Five's had the pod - they don't, it was an optional extra. From my experience, despite it's rarity, it's not a greatly valuable item - there are only so many Three Thousand Five's without them.

It's a bit like the Three Thousand Five bonnet. Years ago that was trumpeted as one of the ultimate valuable bits, and I know a good friend of mine sold one about 10 years ago for just under £500, however today it's a case of supply and demand, they don't go for an awful lot - last one I sold went for £40.
