Finally finished the last small bits if welding at the rear then epoxy primed the boot before painting in gravitex.
Also flated out the roof and epoxy primed ready for the new vinyl.

Then turned it round so i can start on the few bits of welding and massive engine bay clean and paint after ive fitted the roof.

Have fitted the roof lining back in now and a few other bits and pieces.

Hopefully get the rear window in next week then get on with any welding in the engine bay

Good job on the pedal box, there are a lot of people who make the conversion who would benefit from the video.

Not sure if you had any photos of the original S mounting, I have my clutch cylinder off so had a look and took a few photos. The original was just a thin strip of metal. You might need to trim the top of your mounting to clear the steering arm.

I didnt have any photos of the original bracket but mine is fairly similar.
It is close to the steering arm but not touching but like you say might be worth trimming it down.
Is the reserve tap bracket just slightly further down as cant quite make it out in the photos.

Few more bits welded in the engine bay.
Not much more welding now except an unexpected bit in the front right hand corner where its been badly repaired in the past and caked with underseal to hold it together.
