73 P6 auto V8 with four barrel holley [8007 or basicly a 4160]
Right, was out for a wee drive today and hey pretso. It died.
The Holley was throwing fuel literally everywhere, so I cleaned and reset the floats. Now, I can't get it to idle happily and I'm throwing black smoke all over the place. Perhaps I have the wrong power valve? I'm going to throw some new plugs in to be safe.
Who has experience with the holley carbs on a Rover?
I'm hoping it's just needed more adjustment, but the floats seem to be sitting in the correct place. :?:
