Hi,

I hope I am not offending anyone by posting details of the 1977 P6 3500S ( PYR 243R )that retrohire has available for hire as shown on our website. I am told the car was an export model and has a white metal roof rather than the normal vinyl.Mechanically the car is very good but is presently undergoing some bodywork to improve a rather dull paint job. By 1976 the car was the lemon of the year due to the terrible build quality and perhaps the history of the model encapsulates the reasons for the demise of the British car industry.
 
As a policy, we don't usually allow advertising on the forum. But I think you guys deserve a break for a very worthwhile enterprise. I've had a look at your cars and it looks a really interesting collection. I particularely like the Oxford traveller with MGB running gear - I could well visualise a holiday in that!

How did you come by the cars and what prompted you to get statrted?
