Humphrey Stevens car. Series I V8 Estate.

I have never seen an estate (or station wagon as they would be called in Australia), in Australia.
Was there a single specialist firm in the U.K that carried out the conversion? Were conversions also carried out in other countries?

Scotts Old Rubber Parts in ( Oakley, Melbourne ) OZ has a P6B Estate; Scott's a long-time Rover owner + good source for parts too....
The Estate conversion from the P6 sedan was called an Estoura, and they're quite rare

I have purchased a number of items from Scott and have always been pleased. He used to own a very nice P6B with a 4.4 litre P76 V8 engine. I recall the local Rover fraternity were rather horrified when at a meeting, his wife hops in the Rover and then proceeds to do a rather large burnout.

There may be a few more in Oz these days. Scott has had his for years but I recently stumbled across a pic on the Queensland Rover club site of a Lunar grey 3500S Estate on P5 Rostyles. I also had an interesting phone call a year or so back from a guy in Brisbane (I think) who had recently imported two 3500 Estates to restore. :shock:
I recall buying parts in a speed shop a number of years back when a respectable looking middle-aged woman came with her husband's instruction to buy a K&N filter for his newish GT Falcon (this would have been late '90s with a 5 litre V8). The guys in the shop were very helpful, fitting it for her and explaning all the benefits etc, she paid, thanked them and then laid a massive trail of rubber out of their driveway and halfway up the main road! The looks on their faces were priceless.
