I HAVE RUN OUT OF TIME/ PATIENCE/ MONEY FOR MY P6 PROJECT.
You can see some of the work that has been done on this forum in the "restorations"section.

This is a PROJECT vehicle but would make a great project for someone. ALL of the welding has been completed.
This includes floor repairs, boot repairs and new inner sill repair. The whole inner sill was removed by drilling out the old welds and entire new inner sills were welded in. The D panels were then welded in.
I have also repaired the rear wheel arches which needed some cutting out and closing back up in the usual places.
In the boot, the top link mounting sections were replaced. All the above panels are from JR Wadhams. There are receipts for all of the odds and ends which have been bought.

Currently the rear suspension is off and I was intending to rebus this. I have all of the new bushes ready to go in except for the ones at the front of the lower links. It needs new UJ's on the drive shafts and would probably benefit from new rear wheel bearings.
The de dion elbows appear to be in good nick and have been cleaned/ Kurusted, POR 15'd and painted black.

The engine was in running order when I took it off the road 8 years ago but would probably benefit from some recommissioning/ servicing.
The doors are in pretty good nick.
Front wings need lower repair sections.
Rear nearside wing is very good.
Offside wing needs a top repair panel.
Interior is toledo red and is in FAIR condition. It has a couple of tears and could do with being re stitched. The door cards and front bin covers are reasonable.
I got a lovely letter from an elderly gentleman who bought the car initially from Blue Star garage in north London.

RECEIPTED PARTS:
front caliper repair kit (fitted) £14
new outer sills £105 (fitted with some light rust now)
New rubber seals to door windows £20
New water pump gasket, front pad shim pack, fan belt, top rocker gasket £20
new outer headlamps £20
new engine mount, air filter, dis.cap £50
inner sills and snub rubber (for gearbox) £100
new splash panels and D post repair £74
top link boot mount repairs (fitted)£15 each

In addition to the receipted items there are numerous others
New mild steel exhaust system (only done about 300 miles)
oversize main bearing shells (boxed)
excellent condition front bumper

I need to clear my garage.
IF YOU WANT THE CAR WE WILL NEED TO LOOSELY REASSEMBLE THE REAR END WITHOUT THE BUSHES SO YOU CAN TRAILER AWAY.
My back will not allow me to complete the repair work.

IF I DO NOT GET ANY BUYERS THEN I WILL SELL FOR SCRAP AND SELL THE UNUSED PARTS SEPARATELY (which is a shame)

I am looking for £350 as it stands.

I am sure you can PM me and i will give you my phone number if there is anything else you need to know.

Many Thanks
David

Probably worth saying where in the country you are...

Your price is low so hopefully someone will take it on.

Speaking to Mr Sawdust..This car is too good to scrap..In fact it’s a better prospect than my Brown 2000 at the moment! So it looks like I will be rescuing this one as well..now then is there anyone in the Blythe area who would be up for lending a hand for a couple of hours in the next few weeks? meet at the cars location and help me get it rolling and onto a trailer ...all arrangements are up in the air at the moment but I am trying to hatch a plan to get it back to Somerset..Any ideas help welcome repaid with gifts of Somerset cider if needed!

I have a plan...I am planning to hire a self drive Transporter - prefer that over towing using the family car- get in touch if you need a car or similar transported south going north..in the next few weeks

LAST CHANCE TO BUY THE PROJECT.

I NEED TO CLEAR THE GARAGE AND UNFORTUNATELY I AM GOING TO PAY THE SCRAP MAN TO COLLECT NEXT WEEK FOR £150.

YOU CAN HAVE THE WHOLE PROJECT FOR £200 OR I WILL SELL THE EXHAUST/ PARTS SEPARATELY.

LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE INTERESTED BY 11TH APRIL.

IT'S A SHAME TO SEE IT GO AND WOULD MAKE A GREAT PROJECT AS ALL OF THE WELDING IS COMPLETE TO THE BODY CHASSIS.
