Trying to fit recently bought overriders to newly chromed rear bumper, but the fixing bolt seems to short.
Can any one tell me are to bolts to short or as I suspect, should there be some sort of block bolted to the inside of the bumper which the bolt screws into or pushes against.

If you haven't got the metal plates then a piece of tube placed in the "V" of the bumper will work as a temporary measure.

You can still get the plates, I think I got some from Ian a year or so ago
