You'd have to climb over me Graham .
That white roof makes sense in Oz and the a/c looks at home in the console .Needs tints though - must have to work bloody hard to keep her cool .

Hi Graham...well you have an eagle eye there dont you? :)
It is too cheap, but people aren't exactly beating down the doors for these cars unfortunately....and I really want the car to go to someone who can/will take it to the next level. I got it for nothing (spent a few$$), and at 2k, I'm certainly going backwards, but time is money, and who knows how long it might sit about if I ask a more accurate amount?
I had an older chap drop by today (A Rover Club member doing a bit of recon actually), and the more he looked, the more his eyes widened...he looked at the panels and said "are you a panel beater/painter?" Well, that was a compliment!!
He could see the work that has gone into it...you cant get that "look" with a car that's just had a quick tartup...as you would know.
So...fingers crossed :)

Hi AL...normally flatout!!
But thats in the middle of summer, and I'm glad to say the car doesn't overheat...even if stuck in traffic!
Three core rad helps on this front I think!
Apparently these Rovers died by the dozen when Australians cranked up the air con in the day.
But it does keep me cool no doubt...if I have 4 on board...well it struggles then.
As you say...good tint would help significantly, and a couple of small thermos at the front of the vehicle will drop inside temps by another 1.5 degrees according. to the A/C chaps

Indeed, quite a diverse selection of Rovers.

The Australian market Rovers all came originally fitted with 2 core radiators, so when running air conditioning, the additional load on days over 30 degrees C would likely have been just too much to bear on occasions.

Ron.
