one wheel drive?

I can confirm that the extension shaft is the weakest point. I bought a 1970 V8 spares car some time ago. I drove it onto the trailer, put it into park and stupidly ratcheted up the winch to get the car to its final position on the trailer before strapping it down. I wanted to make a hasty retreat as the car was a real bargain and plenty of lovely spares in the boot. The scrap yard boss was due back and I'd struck the deal with one of the workers! It must have only moved an inch max on the winch but when I unloaded it, there was no drive in any gear, just a grinding noise from the back end. Had to push it off the trailer! When I stripped it, the extension shaft had sheared. You live and learn! At least its an easy and cheap part to replace when compared to a differential or auto 'box!

It was supposed to be, and for your failure it was, but for the hundreds of snapped driveshafts I did, I only ever did one of those.
