oil cooler pipes

Gentlemen, has it any effect at all if you change the position of the oil cooler pipes (automatic transmission) so that the bottom one is upmost on the radiator and vice versa? the connections are the same but I did not mark which one is the bottom one and which one is the top one. Has it any effect on the cooling system? Regards, Chris Varming

It won't cause any problems.

Chris, you'll probably find that one way round just looks right with nice curves on the hoses and no kinks whereas the other won't.

like harvey said no problems, but if you have only removed your rad then the pipes run round the side of the engine one on top of the other, so you should be able to see which goes to which anyway.
