Non standard leather seats

Hi everyone.
Just wondering if anyone has fitted leather seats to a P6 that come out of a modern car?
Are there any modern cars out there with "retro" or similar style seats that will fit??

I am sure that I saw a p6 at last years classic car show at the nec of the drivers club stand.

It had rover 800 seats in it.

I think its the rover 45,and 75 connisseur leather seats,,SEATS!! that look VERY close to the originals!
Whether somewone has made them fit I dont know! ???
I keep looking out for a set to play with but I need bronze ones!!
 
Yes I've been looking at using 45 / 75 seats in my project. I was offered a full set of 45 black leather as per the link for £75 from a local breaker. Not too sure about the 75 though, you'd need to measure them to make sure they're not too wide. And watch out for electric seats if you don't want a wiring nightmare !! Oh and airbags too !

Some of them are really nice with the rover emblem embossed in the leather.

I wanted cream or grey, and I need the front seats to fold forward for rear access, so I'm still looking...

I had early 216 vitesse seats in the front of my old convertible but they didn't suit it at all, more recaro bucket style, than comfy armchair.

I may have a look about & see whats involved regarding getting them to fit. It's the rears that will probably pose the biggest challenge.

A mate of mine looked into the alternative seat thing for his car and he reckons that the framing for the P6 and 75 seats is the same. I haven't seen either stripped down, so I can't say for sure.
 
Audi A4 seats are very nice; very very nice.

About the same size as a P6, they might be persuaded to fit.

My son in law has one with leather seats, fully electric, adjustable everything an extremely comfortable. I might just be visiting him soon with a tape measure.

I have an A6 but the seats are too big :cry:
