non original seats

having just leant on my passenger seat while installing the sound system and going right through the stitching i think the time has come replace my front seats!..did anyone ever find out if rover 45 ones fitted?...if they do i may have some ET headrests for sale!

I have seen them fitted in a car at a show,looked quite good as well!
But the owner wasnt about to tell me how it was done?
I have looked at the bottom of a 45's seat,and think it is just a matter of making some new holes in the new seats runners to bolt to the p6's existing points!
I have been meaning to get hold of a scrap 45 seat to experiment with,but thats just one of too many things on the go at the moment,so it will have to wait!
other forum members have been toying with this and may have more info on it!

the 75 seats are slightly bigger than the 45 ...i have both ...if anyone wants me to measure them let me know,

I'd hazard a guess these are Rover 200 seats. But note the sellers comments about lack of adjustment!

That's been on ebay before, I believe they're 75 seats, back ones are a particularly bad fit, if you look there's only about 1/2 the seat base available to sit on !
