So in my previous post I had decided I needed a new rear gearbox mount. Now I have a new problem!

This is the Left hand (looking rearwards towards the engine) exhaust manifold with a large crack! The part number on it is 602694. It is from my 3500S auto NADA. I imagine it is the same as a standard UK 3500 auto part although my parts catalogue doesn't give that number.

If anyone has a spare, I am in the market!!

If you're not using an AED they are the same LH & RH. The only difference was the early cars with an AED used a different manifold for the heat riser.

For info. the part number on the casting is the casting number , not the part number that would be shown the parts catalogue. After machining another number is allocated , and if then say some studs were fitted, another assembly number would be allocated. Using the casting number is useful for identifying parts if no other info. is available but it could end up on two or three different machined parts when finally fitted to an engine or appear in the parts book.

Thanks guys, and luckily it isn't the AED side that is cracked! Thanks for the info. I will carry on my endless search for spares! I never saw the crack before because I have a tin cover over thatCIMG0587.JPG manifold to direct hot air to the airbox for the emissions kit!!
