Hello!
I'm a Rover fan from Norway. Your forum looks very interesting, and I look foreward to use it. I've got two British veteran cars; a 62 Triumph Tr4 and a 73 Rover 3500S. They are both great cars, and I drive them quite a lot in the summertime. I give you some pictures of my Rover as soon I find out how to do it.
Best wishes from Moagut1

Welcome Moagut1 from one '73 3500S owner to another! :) I'm sure you'll find this forum to be a great source of knowledge and inspiration - certainly has been for me!

There's a sticky thread at the start of this Welcome section to help with posting pictures but if you have any problems, shout up. There's usually someone online to help!

Oh...and I'm sure Tor (from Stavanger) will be along soon to say Hi as well. :D :D :D

Another welcome moagut1 from another 1973 3500s owner :D yours looks very nice indeed 8)

Thank you all for your nice comments! :D The car is an untouched original car with some "patina". It should may be have a respray, but I like it the way it is!!! The colour is Monza red, but the photo is taken late in the evening. That's the reason it looks darker.

That does look lovely... Was it once for sale in the Trondheim area?? Original Norwegian-sold car? I was a few months late for that one myself, but I'm quite happy with what I eventually got 8)

And, more pictures please!

Oh yes - and welcome! There's a couple of Norwegians on the forum but I'm the only one posting silly questions here with any regularity. I know some owners here in my area and one or two in Oslo. Your car is the only Monza red one I've seen in the country :!: since I was a boy and a relative of mine, a Spitfire pilot emigré, had one that came up for sale while I was still dreaming of turning 18.

Nice to hear from a Norwegian member! Yes, I bought this car in Trondheim in April 2009. It was sold in Kongsberg in 73, and it had the same owner the first 35 years! And I think it spent just one year i Trondheim before I brought it to Valdres. And I will never sell it!!! :D

Hi!

Nice P6 you have there!

Perhaps we should have an scandinavian corner in this forum?

Regards

Anders

Sorry for not translating!

We are talking about perhaps would an scandinavian corner in this forum be good.

I think that some of the eldery persons in scandinavia aren´t used to use a computer nor to write in english. I do have som trouble my selv (obvious) to write in english even if I spent about 4 years in university.

Further i wrote about that I go to the NEC Classic Car Show every year and it could be nice to meet up on site and meet people in real life and help each other to buy parts och talk about experiences regarding our Rovers.
