new car new start - needing to know the lot really

well i've done it now... i bought my first rover p6. its a 1970 3500 v8. basicalliy i need to know where to begin. i have taken the interior out and where the floor meets the inner sills there is a hole running the complete length of the floor. i thought this be a good place to start? maybe? ialso need to know the best places to get parts eg, panels. also where to get some good literature on the restoration of my new baby. and also where i will be able to get the best advice to help me along. hope someone can point me in the right direction.

Dicky, the only thing i'd do differently now is use JR Wadhams full outer D posts. Should save a lot of time if yours need doing. If you're going to replace the sills these have to come off first to access the last 12" of spot welded sill flange.
