Car passed her MOT today. Just had to tell someone who would understand as my Missus doesn't seem to fully comprehend my sense of elation.

Well done
Shame your wife doesn't share your enthusiasm - you'll have to deliberately not notice next time she gets her hair done

Thanks, However, not acknowledging the new hairdo could be a tad extreme. Might come home to find paint stripper over my P6!

arthuy,

was worried aboout the exhaust and a crack on my windscreen. Although I had patched up the exhaust, I reckoned it was still blowing slightly. In the end, the MOT inspector never even mentioned either.

They did advise that there was some slight corrosion underneath (surface rust) - well she is 35 years old!. Also, that I had a slightly worn O/S steering ball-join. Not quite sure exactly which join they are on about and will have to take a look. Sometimes, I do get a bit of judder on the steering when I break hard at speed, so this may the reason why?

This is the same garaage I went to last year and I am quite happy as they seem to be sympathetic to the car but at the same time give it a good insopection and advise on any real trouble that might be looming.

Congrats 8)

I've got my first MOT with my P6 on Monday, my fingers are crossed already...

Jim.

arthuy, thanks for the offer of the pipe. Would be grateful for it please. Will PM you.
