Hi All
I have an auto P6B with Lumenition ignition. Recently my rev counter started reading erratically with the needle jumping wildly over the rev range. It has also started to require a lot of cranking before it fires up and even then it seems not to be firing on all cylinders initially, after a few seconds it is fine. Today I cleaned up the rotor arm and dizzy cap contacts with emery paper...... still took ages to start but the rev counter was stable. So what is wrong? Coli? Lumention on the way out?
The engine runs sweetly when it's warm and the choke is in.... although stalls very occasionally at junctions.
Any suggestions gratefully received
Thanks
Richard
