Met police P6 spotted twice!

I'm home in the UK right now and went out with a mate this evening. Driving out of London on the A20 (Sidcup Bypass) by Fiveways I see an Ex Met Police P6 heading the opposite way at around 7:15ish. The when d4iving home on the same junction around 10:20 I see it going the other way! This is the style I remember as a child: Mickey Mouse style roof lights plus a blue revolving light, car painted a dark blue.

Any ideas where it might have come from? BTW it was traveling on the way home!

Maybe the A20 has wormhole on it somewhere

There's a chap near Ramsgate with quite a collection of old police cars, including a blue ex-met P6. Not exactly local to where you saw it, but not that far away.

It was at a classic car club meet that I was lucky enough to to be at (joined on the night) http://www.foresthillclassiccarclub.org
The owner/driver is a retired police diver who keeps his licence up to date so can leave the blue light uncovered. He also owns ex police mg and sd1.

Not quite right on the blue light , he covers it up as required .
