Merry Christmas

Bear in mind that here in the South we do not make a difference. England is England and "Scotland" is just part of "England". In short, "England" means "United Kingdom".

I do hope you're joking, but sadly I suspect you're not.

No, I'm not joking, but do not take it for the bad side.

It is not disrespectful for the Scots, but just lack of culture or simply convenience.

Even here when people return back to mainland Spain from the Canary Islands a lot of them say "we will fly to Spain" instead of saying "we will fly to the peninsula". It hurts a bit the Canarians, but we never say that in an offensive manner, it is just convenience.

Health for all.

Well I thought I'd report back on the christmas pressies...

I nice selection of tools, including some air-sheers, perfect for cutting sections from big steel sheets, and doesn't leave those tiny sharp off-cuts like the air-nibblers I got last year. Nibblers are good for cutting shapes though. Nice set of screwdrivers, a new oil filter wrench and some scrapers / picks. Add to that a small collection of "cheese" tools from my brother. Cheese tools are those cheapo screwdriver / socket sets that usually last a handfull of jobs, but are still usefull.

Plus of course a selection of socks !

Not quite Pilkie's 4 post lift though :(

I just got
the usual smellies,
chocs,
shortbread,
a stainless steel thingy for the bathroom light since The Webmaster's Wife would not let me nick hers,
No socks....need to get some as was relying on those. :(
Fistful of CASH and vouchers for Asda....

The last items are very useful
That way I can get what I want in the Sales

Hope everyone else got what they wanted

....Happy New Year BTW..... :D

An electric saw with metal cutting blades. I think she wants me to cut up the P6 and bin it!

Cheers Tony Bunting

Not yet. Used the sheet metal sheers though to get a security label off another present which the shop had left on it by mistake!

Cheers
