happy days

A road run has been arranged ( thanks Pat ) for Sunday November 4th. A 10:30 AM start is planned , meeting at Ellenroad Steam Museum , Jnct 21 , M62 Milnrow. Will be approximately a 70 mile run , taking in Hebden Bridge , Oxenhope , Haworth ( will have a stop here ) onto Trawden , Thursden, back through Hebden Bridge and finishing in Rochdale. It's a very good route on mainly 'B' roads but some will be narrower. Some great driving roads for the P6 or any classic. All are welcome to join us.

Cheers Mick

Sorry Mick, I have my wifes family visiting, and if I go awol I'm toast.

John.

No problem young man , you will be invited to the next one. Just to show that we will invite everyone and ANY car.
Enjoy your day :D

Sparky is still unwell, otherwise I would be there like a shot. 8)

When is the next one?

Big Thanks to Pat, John and James for the run, will have to do it again in the summer, thanks also to the guys and girls who made it a great run and obviously to the really well behaved cars :D

.

Looks like you had a good day out! Some excellent roads in that area, which I've used quite a few times as I've got friends who live nearby.

looks great. Wish I could have popped over, not all that far from me! But mine's in many many pieces at the moment.

Lovely shots-
the earthy P6 colours in amongst the fog , look so good in that environment .The fog is a great mood setter for the photos
Good work
If it was on a calendar -I would buy it .

Great photos there Mick.. :D Those through the windscreen are also perfect for "A View Through The Windscreen" over in the Lounge too...

The third last photo, is that a dam wall or similar? Whereabouts is it please?

Looks like it was a top run too!!
Ron.

Hi Ron , that pic is of Watersheddles Reservoir which is just outside an olde worlde village called Haworth in West Yorkshire

My cars are not quite that old, the oldest being 21 years.

I'm more of the Rover r8 models of which i have quite a collection.
Would love to do the next area run i love driving all mine, but only dry mileage now.
