The glass bowl fuel pump on my 2200TC is leaking. I have a TFP 971244 AC pump. Can I use that to replace it or do I need to source a glass bowl one.? Or is the V8 pump interchangeable. Alternately should I go for Electric?

If it is the one that I think it is without a metal cap on it it should work bit it probably does not have a filter in it.
A David Brown 990 tractor fuel pump is a perfect match and is readily available.
Some people have installed an electric electric fuel pump in series with the engine driver fuel pump., with a fuel pressure gauge. This means that you will start with the float bowls of your carburetors full. Makes your fuel system identical to a Piper Cherokee if you have a manual switch to the electric fuel pump.
