Just for a laugh

Very cool. 8)

A friend of mine has a 1960s S-type Jag. We've talked about finding an abandoned industrial estate and staging our own cops and robbers car chase, complete with strategic cardboard boxes to crash through, and lots of tyre squeal!

Great idea. A mate of mine has a 75 Vauxhall Victor FE. We were planning to do something similar...maybe down the old Southampton docks.

I see they're doing a remake in real life too 8)

Oh god...really. Well that'l be rubbish to then, like the remake of the A-Team etc. Why cant people leave
things along. That's the trouble with Tv producers today..no imagination. They feel they have to take
something that was fondly remember and good, and try and cash in on it..but i guess that's nothing
new. I heard they were going to do a re-make the tv series "The Professionals" as well.. i really hope they
dont. Those shows worked because they were made in that decade.

Looks like it's going ahead, with Ray Winstone playing Jack Regan and some rapper I've never heard of called 'Plan B' playing George Carter. Leave well alone I say, it'll no doubt be written, produced and directed by people who've never even seen the original series (or the two spin off films), I just don't see the point!

Nidge

If they do a remake , will Jack Regan have to be politically correct and non sexist ? If so , it's not worth bothering

Yes the memory of another show ruined by some half-arsed remake :(
