It's good to be home!

Well I finally got some good news! Got called to a meeting yesterday and was given a new project, 17 miles from home! After 4 years commuting to London and Dublin it comes as a welcome change not to spend Sunday evening on the motorway or in Cork airport :D . Might finally get to make some meaningful progress on the Rovers! Roll on summer!
Regards,
Dave

Thanks lads :D . It's a nice feeling sitting down tonight knowing I can relax tomorrow night as well. I got up this morning with great plans for the cars, but then the phone started to ring. First was a call to say one of the tractors wouldn't start, followed by a dead VW crafter, followed by a berlingo with a duff starter, followed by a bedford TK with dead batteries, followed by a series 1 2000TC with a seized calliper (at least I got to one P6). Added to that I spent the rest of the day cutting timber on the farm, but who cares, I've got all week now, not just Saturday :D .
Regards,
Dave

Travel like that just eats time.

When things were busy in London I used to get home between 11.30pm and 12.00am on Friday and pretty much straight to bed. Sunday I had to leave again at 6pm for the airport :( . By the time you take sleep and the other essentials out of that time I couldn't do a thing.

Thanks again lads. Must admit it's been one of the best weeks work I've had in a long time! The offices haven't been setup on site yet so I'm currently in our main Cork office, 6 miles of duel carriageway from home :D . Strange not filling the car with diesel every 5 or 6 days!
Regards,
Dave
