Intermittent wiper system removal

Hi,

I've got my Historic Road Rally P6 3500 V8 nearly ready for it's first event but I'm just struggling a little with some of the last few jobs.

I've got the wipers working, well sort off, they run at both speeds but do not self park unless I turn the switch to the intermittent setting then they parks fine.

I would really prefer to just take the whole intermittent wiper system off, simplicity breeds reliability etc.... anyone know exactly how to bypass the governor etc...

Hello Tim. Maybe this reply is useless for you, but I'd suggest you to take the switch panel off and check the wiring out.

I did it this way after buying my 2200 SC (only one speed was working by that time) and found the problem just after the first sight. One wire was loosen off.

This car is not as complicated as a modern car, so I think there is no point you take the whole wiper system off.
