Interior Trim Colour - How can I find the right name?

Just bought a V8 P6, its 1972 and I'd like to know what colour seats I have-I would say they are tan but faded but I also belive they made a lighter trim called Buckskin-am I right in saying that buckskin is lighter than tan? did they make a tan and a lighter buckskin or is it just called buckskin? would be handy to know for ebay!!! ??? Cheers
 
hi,
right, buckskin is the lightest colour you can get ( it is basically skin colour ) then you have the next darkest which is sandalwood and would be best described as the same colour as sand you would find on an english beach. next is bronze which is a dark brown. i do not know how to put up a link to show you, so if you either want to e-mail me a picture of your interior, or if you don't have a digital camera i will e-mail you some pictures of interiors i have so you will know what's what.

Thanks for your help-I think it sounds like sandalwood from your descriptions as its def not brown! more like you say-golden sand, Didn't know what they called tan so cheers now I know-sandalwood! Rich. :)
