Installing ACR Alternator

Hi, Have recently recomissioned my S1 2000TC after ten years sitting in a garage, the Alternator has just given up the ghost and on taking it off found it to be mounted on a bodged Dynamo Bracket (cut in half and with one half reversed)
I've sourced an18 ACR and the Bracket from Wins and was hoping to get it fitted this weekend but have just realised that i don't know how it's fitted
My parts books and workshop manuals are for series 1 cars and only show Dynamo fitment.
I would be grateful if somebody could post a pic of one on an engine or a page from a manual/partsbook

Was the old alternator an 18ACR or an 11AC because they're different? The 18ACR has a built in voltage regulator whereas the 11AC requires an external one and the way they're wired into the charging circuit is different too. My car is a V8 so different mount I think from the 4 pots.
