Indicator warning light?

Hi folks,

Just a recent problem with the old V8.Yesterday when indicating left the warning light stopped flashing,and any sound from the relay also faded.Both work fine when indicating right,and the hazard switch all flashes up.Suprisingly to me,when i checked the left indicators from outside,all was working fine?!.

So as much as all seems to be working legal wise,what would the problem be on the electrical front?.

Try replacing the warning light bulb.

Hello Gus,

I would be inclined to suggest that the relay is at fault. If you change the relay, accessible from the driver's (R/H) side glove box then the intermittant problem should be resolved.

I'd replace the left hand bulbs and clean the bulb holders in case there's a bad connection

Thanks for your responses.Before i could try any of your suggestions,i jumped into the car today and lo and behold all is working correctly again :? .

The electrical gremlins must have been on the night-shift last night :roll: .
