Hi James , welcome . you'll find all the help you need here .
Can you have a go at resizing your pics so we of the smaller screen can view them .
Right click on the pic where ever you have it stored , click the "open with paint" option , then the stretch/scew option , resize to about 30% ( i find that about right ) Then go to file on the tool bar and save :D
Of course if your a techno head and know a better way ignore the above :D
Ps i'm crap with computers so their's probably a better way :D

Will do, i have resized the photos.. must need to do it a bit more ill get there eventually. Im not much better with computers :)
thanks

Always nice to see another one of us 'young 'uns' hopping on the Rover V8 bandwagon, I have a S2 Tobacco Leaf V8S, yours is a damn sight tidier than mine though, significantly fewer dents and primer patches, but each to their own, I kinda like my scrappy paintwork and broken doors!

On the insurance front, I have always been pleasantly surprised by my annual cost, £630 a year ain't so bad, until somebody comes along and tell you they pay £63 a year, but at least it's cheaper than some plastic modern car, and much nicer to own!

I know what you mean with the modern plastic car its good to know theres a bunch of people out there that agree. so much more fun to own and easier to work on, look heaps better too :) i got quoted £5000 to insure a 2.0 astra from 2001 ish  Well a V8 rover is still an excellent car even it is does need some elbow grease, mine is a bit of a project car, nothing major hopefully but it will be fun to work on. That insurance quote is excellent for our generation :) how old are you if you dont mind me asking?

ha, it's almost the exact twin of mine - yours has black interior and different mirrors, and is quite a bit nicer looking.

I think we also might have the same red rug  :D

nice car - well done! A candidate for future 'Northern' meets as well :). Good luck with the insurance, as said they're not too bad as I think they're classed as low risk 'cos everyone is careful with them. Don't tell anyone above, but my insurance is £62 a year, I'm 27.

Looks tidy, well done. You have time as well now to tinker away and get the jiggly bits done. Watch your hands around the alternator, should be a guard on that!!

It's such a shame to see the car change from something that is beautiful into a boring everyday appliance, I get bored just looking at new cars these days, unless it's something exciting like the new Jag F-type coupe, but that's a story for another time.
That is one eye-watering insurance quote, my first car was a 1.4 Kia Rio at the first year cost me £2,400! Or 2.4 kiloquids  The Rover has probably cost me more than that in the year I've had it in parts and gubbins, but it has been a much nicer experience (I'll never forget the first day I got it home and spent 4 hours taking off all the light fittings and clearing out all the mud that got in there).
I am 21, been driving 4 years in February, had the Rover since last December and the first year quote was about £870 (and I've done speeding and naughty things as well), which was still cheaper than pretty much any other car. All my friends think I am mad for driving 'that old shit-heap' while I am at uni, but I don't listen! :D

As for you, /shakes fist.

footman james. They slightly got the renewal wrong for the K-midget but honoured it - so I got it 91 quid less than it should have been. :D

No idea what they're like if you stuff it, but have been OK with mods and other things.

cheers guys now im 21 my insurance quotes have gone down by 900 quid leaving it at around £1100 which im fairly happy with so far considering ive only had a licence since September. That was on Compare the market will ring up some other insurers nearer the time. Adrian flux came up with £1800

Glad that they are other people my age driving around in these and yes i am up for some meets when the car is ready and insured :)

Being a member of a Club will get you cheaper insurance, The Rover P6 Club are in talks with some to get better insurance deals for all with classic cars, especially the young drivers.
