Hi! I'm Steve from Leicester. I'm not currently an owner of a P6 but i've had a 2000SC in the past i'm really keen to get another one, although this time hopefully a V8 :)

Hopefully i'll be behind the wheel of a P6 in the next few months, just waiting for one in my prce range to present itself!

I'm mainly looking on Ebay and 'classic cars for sale', not really looking with any intensity because i'm not in any special rush just yet, though it would be nice to find one in the next month or so.
I'm hoping to find something that's a little bit grotty but a good runner, i'm not scared of some welding but I don't really want to get too involved in mechanicals at this moment. They're never around when your looking for one though are they!!
 
Ahh, Street from Retro Rides I presume? Been lurking on Readers Rides section there for amusement and inspiration and enjoyed reading about the project family dragster.

Your not planning a twin engined P6 are you?

Glad you like my project, i'm still in it up to my elbows but i'd like to have a P6 to run daily and fettle at my leisure aswell. Just the one engine I think for this one though! :p
 
There's a P6 on a front drive near Buckminster Rd in Leicester - looks like it's been there for some time. I also know of one in Loughbororough that was going begging a couple of months ago - again sat awhile.
I'm in Leicester tomorrow - I'll try and find the former again!

Thankyou Tantus Pedis! Sounds like a promising lead, i'd like to be able to rescue one that's sitting there rotting away. Do let me know if you find it again :D
 
I found that V8 in Leicester. It's on Totland Rd (near the BP garage on Groby Rd) and belongs to a chap called Paul Simpson.
It's intact but the panels are badly oxidised and the front wings are in a bit of a state. It's an auto, red, L reg - so tax exempt and according to Paul not been run for a 2-3 years. He bought it with the intention of restoration but never got round to it - he said he drove it for a while though.
