Hello, I do not own a Rover (don't shoot!) but I do own a 1950 Land Rover. In the future I am planning an engine change from 200 Tdi thats installed at the moment to a classic four pot Rover unit. I thought this would be a great place to gain some information (not knowing a lot about these engines and not being a great mechanic) and advice. My Land Rover is an old trialler and back in the 70s and 80s the 2000 and 2200 was a popular modification for competition motors. Also to enter some comps you needed/need a Rover based engine.
This is my Land Rover 80".
Thanks Steve.
