Hello Rover Forum

Hello all,
I came across this forum by accident whilst looking into more detail on the "Talago". How fantastic to come across this group. I'm definitely hankering after the Talago... pity it's not very original.

I had got rather jaded about Rover groups a few years ago (don't worry; not going to break forum rules!!) but delighted to be back.

I've just spent a lovely Sunday driving my 2000TC. She's a very early 1967 version. 85,000 miles from new with history right back to her green log book and all her MoTs. She's fitted with wire wheels, ETs and 'woodrim' steering wheel. I have poured a small fortune into her restoration - £12,000. But it's quite wonderful when it all comes together in a lovely evening in the sunshine.

Best wishes to all,
Simon

Rovers do get around don't they? I dare say your's is a hell of a lot nicer than mine. Mine is a very early (#3) '68 car with 180,000 miles and an 18 year old restoration behind it but it is a daily driver. I presume your's is Venetian red too?

My! That's really nice! Venetian Red and Bullet mirrors on the bonnet!

You're just going to have to get some thin side stripes now!
