Heated Rear Screen - Only four bars working

Hello all,
Anyone got any tips for fixing the heated rear window on my 1975 3500s? The top bar works as well as three along the bottom, basically what I need to know is can this be repaired or is it time to buy a new one?

You can buy the repair kit which is like nail varnish but when it dries you have a metallic path.

I tried it and it did wok although you have to be neat and make sure the screen is 100% and not to cold. I think it is a summer job but as usual it is lashing down and minus 2 when you discover it is broken.

You can get the kit at good motor factors or if you are struggling try Halfords.
